Meet our first programme cohort

We would like to welcome our first programme cohort for 2023. Over the next 9 months we will be working with twenty-two businesses, supporting them on their four stage journey (Diagnostic, Define, Craft, Connect).

We will be working towards getting the businesses pitch ready in order to further their success once the programme has finished. Create South East is here to support the Creative Industries in Essex, Kent and Sussex to achieve their growth ambitions, and we will be championing our companies throughout the programme. From animation studios, to digital marketing companies, here is a run-down of our exceptional cohort:

A+C Studios (Animation)

A+C Studios is a Full Service Production Company that specialises in Stop-motion & 2D animation. We have a passion for bringing imaginative characters and worlds to life.

Borderpoint Films (Film&TV)

Borderpoint Films is a Kent based independent TV production company founded by experienced creatives who have made over 100 hours of factual television across many formats.

Brown Bear Audio (Digital Media)

Brown Bear Audio is an independent and fast growing audio post production company specialising in Remote based post production.

Crawley Film Initiative (Film)

Crawley Film Initiative is a film production company and training hub that produces high-end quality visuals for a range of commercial clients plus trains young people between the ages of 16-25.

Curious Families UK (Museums, Galleries, & Libraries)

Curious Families UK produce events and resources for family audiences. We work with museums, theatres, heritage, culture and children’s services to equip families with playful solutions that improve health and well-being.

Digitom Video Production (Advertising & Media)

Digitom was born out of a passion to create content that inspires, connects and engages with its audience, through factual storytelling. Digitom are B Corp™ certified, award-winning innovators, with more than 25 years’ experience of creating broadcast and branded content for some of the most ambitious clients.

Globetrotter Television (TV)

Globetrotter Television is an independent UK Television broadcaster and publisher, specialising in the creation of globally explorative travel journalism and review based documentary programmes.

Happenstance Films (Film)

An award-winning production team making impactful documentaries for TV, VOD, brands and non-profits. We’ve produced films for Channel 4, Al Jazeera, British Film Institute, UNICEF, Unilever, Schroders, The World Health Organization, BBC Studios and Sky History.

Kids Active Media (Publishing)

IP owned Children’s media company, building brands for entertainment and education from birth – tweenaged years.

Kinshipped (Design)

Kinshipped is a sustainable greetings and stationery publisher.

KMTV (Film & TV)

KMTV is an Ofcom regulated public service broadcast house and production house transmitting on Freeview Channel 7 as part of the UK’s local television network.

Minus Cloud Nine (Design)

Minus Cloud Nine is a business based on opening up conversations around mental health through creativity, workshops, skill share and sustainable goods.

Mission Digital Graphics (Immersive Media)

A Brighton visualisation studio producing imagery, animation and immersive models in order to bring designs to life. Creating photorealistic digital media to convey how designs will look when constructed in real life.

Morton Waters (Advertising & Media)

Morton Waters is a digital marketing agency for the built environment. Founded in 2016 with a ‘how hard can it be?’ attitude… a recession, Brexit and Coronavirus have stretched that somewhat gung-ho attitude almost as far as possible, but Morton Waters is still here and growing despite these challenges.

Palladian Media (Digital Media)

Palladian Media is a creative media production company connecting people to brands, spaces, and experiences through photography and film, online and on social media.

Studio Sam Causer (Architecture)

Studio Sam Causer specialises in the ethical conservation of multi-layered, complex and historic buildings and sites, with an astute understanding of the way materials and humans behave in changing circumstances.

Super Strange Studios (Animation)

Super Strange Studios is an innovative animation production company that aims to create shamelessly silly cross-media worlds.

Tallulah & Hope (Design)

Art-inspired prints and embroidered clothes for women with considered style.

Tallulah & Hope was born in 2010 through a shared desire to create beautiful clothing that really connects with women.

Taw (Digital Media)

Hair and Make-up services, in salon and for media production.
