Recently we held an in-person pitch practice session for our cohort 1 members. This was an opportunity for the businesses to pitch to a room of their peers and a panel of judges to gain productive feedback.
As we near the end of our first cohorts time together, we wanted to offer a chance to pitch in a low pressure and friendly environment.
We’re very luck to have had pitches from 4 of the businesses; Kids Active Media, 24 Fingers, Studio Sam Causer, and Brown Bear Audio. The feedback was insightful, constructive, and empowering. We hope that the cohort is able to take this on board in the future. Additionally, it was also a great opportunity for the businesses to learn more about each other and their projects. We’re grateful to have seen how their business plans have developed over the course of the programme.
The pitching and event panel were hosted by Sam Harland, who we have now had the pleasure of working with across multiple events. We would like to thank everyone involved in putting the event together for their support.
The Lab E20 hosted the event. The space allowed the businesses the creative freedom to test out their pitches and challenge themselves in front of an audience. Thank you to Yasmin Jones-Henry and Christopher Raeburn for allowing us to use the space.
We can’t wait to see what everyone gets up to next!
