Imagine a world filled with robots. How would you maintain your humanity when technology starts to look and feel just like you?
Programme Alumni, Blisstopia Productions, bring these questions to life through animations such as miBOTS and The Robottles.
Last month we joined their latest exhibition at @mid_street_lab_brighton_art, diving into robotic reflections and near‑future visions of pop culture across print, digital, and animation.
A huge shoutout to founder, Gareth Strachan, who has been an inspiring voice throughout the Create South East programme, sharing his experience as a creative business founder at a variety of our events.
Blisstopia Productions was set up in 2020 by British-Canadian writer and producer, Gareth Strachan. Blisstopia has created and produced a variety of titles such as miRights(2020), Myalogue TV, and miBOTS (2021). Having joined the programme for our fourth Create South East cohort, Gareth pitched at our programme showcase in January and has been a dedicated member of our alumni.
With a specialist focus on animation, comedy, drama and science fiction, Blisstopia Productions produce a small amount of non-scripted work in development in terms of grass-roots documentaries and printed pop art and iconography.
