Introducing our Stage 1 cohort of incredible creative businesses joining us in 2025 for a series of workshops, connect events, and mentoring. This cohort includes an array of businesses from production and animation studios, to creative advertising and publishing. We will be sharing their ongoing success and journey’s since the programme on our news page. Here is a run-down of our exceptional businesses:

Stage 1

Accidental (Music)

Founded in 2000 by Matthew Herbert, Accidental is a trailblazing independent electronic music label releasing everything from wonky techno to music and sound works partnering with some of the art world’s most prestigious institutions. We pride ourselves on our global and local community of emerging and established creatives. 

All Your Tomorrows (Digital Media)

All Your Tomorrows are a VR development studio specializing in cutting edge, AI powered stress-resilience technology and games. Their first game is called Psychodrome and is aimed at the hard core gaming market. All Your Tomorrows mission is to find ways to address the explosion of stress in society and to create products for entertainment, medical and military uses. 

Aura Films (Digital Media)

Aura Films is an award-winning video production company based in East Anglia, serving clients across the UK. They create high-quality video content including commercials, corporate films, event coverage, short films and promotional videos. With a diverse portfolio across industries, Aura Films brings a fresh, professional approach to every project in today’s competitive digital landscape. 

Constellation Marketing (Advertising & Marketing)

Constellation Marketing is all about creating connections and telling stories. Based in Colchester, we’ve been helping businesses across the region for over a decade. Our services focus on four key areas: branding, design, content, and web. Strategic thinking underpins our creative approach. 

FrancisKnight (Visual Arts)

FrancisKnight is an award-winning pubic art consultancy founded by Co-directors Louise Francis and Laura Knight. The team has over 20 years’ experience commissioning professional artists to create bold and ambitious artworks for the public realm. 

Makalla McPherson (Digital Media)

Makalla McPherson Studio is a Black female–led production company creating authored, emotionally rich drama centring Black and global majority voices. Founded by television director Makalla McPherson (Doctor Who, Queenie, Queen Charlotte), the studio develops bold, character-driven stories with international ambition. The studio is committed to authentic storytelling, strategic growth, and building a sustainable creative business rooted in authorship and cultural specificity. 

New Planet Film & Media (Digital Media)

New Planet Film & Media was founded in 2008. The team have produced a range of projects over the years, including factual, fiction, training, and promotional content. Their clients and collaborators have included Japanese publishing giant Kodansha, Pathé, NHS England, The National Lottery and Hammer Horror. Corporate commissions have covered subjects from mental health to aviation security.

Offbeat Media Agency (Digital Media)

Offbeat Media Agency is revolutionising how brands connect with creators and journalists, driving real-world impact and undeniable ROI. Specialising in tourism and hospitality, we empower small and medium Enterprises (SMEs) to monetise their social channels, transforming content into additional income streams. 

Racquet Studios (Digital Media)

Racquet Studios is where creativity meets innovation. A leading creative agency and pioneer in the realm of innovative design and technical development in traditional/virtual film production and real-time activations. From photo-realistic, fully optimised 3D environment development to experiential activation, perfect post-production and delivery, our mission is to redefine the boundaries of storytelling and creativity through immersive experiences. 

Rebecca Strickson (Visual Arts)

Rebecca Strickson’s work is a vibrant blend of activism, tradition and bold visuals. Her distinctive illustration style draws on themes of community spirit, social justice and empowerment through print, card patch and pin designs. The artwork makes statements we can all get behind, encouraging conversations on equity, unity and what it means to be part of larger whole. 

Say More Studios (Digital Media)

Say More Studios is a female-led creative company specialising in Impactful Content Production, Original IP Development, and Behaviour-Change Consultancy. Their work disrupts, connects and reframes. Inclusive representation and access are embedded at every single stage, whether Saying More by telling authentic stories or driving systemic change. 

Sorcha Bridge Photography (Visual Arts)

Sorcha Bridge Photography is a Brighton-based creative studio blending photography, digital art, and hand-finished printmaking to create distinctive, collectible artworks. Led by Sorcha Bridge, a photographer and artist with a strong background in music culture, the studio produces limited-edition art prints celebrated for their vibrant textures and unique finishes, including gold leaf, silkscreen, and holographic elements. 

SparkleGoose (Film & TV)

Sparklegoose is a comedy-animation production and IP-development company, founded in 2004 by the key creative team behind Netflix’s Bad Dinosaurs. They produce commercial, broadcast, and digital-first projects in a range of media from traditional hand-drawn animation to digital puppetry, performed in Unreal. 

Strictly Immersive (Immersive)

Strictly Immersive is a micro-company, founded by award-winning BBC Radio playwright Avin Shah, to make virtual/mixed reality narrative games. In 2023 they published a free app for the Meta Quest – This Is Your Country Too: an interactive comedy about navigating the pitfalls of airport immigration. Within 5 years, they believe adoption of VR/MR will accelerate as lightweight glasses become affordable. Strictly Immersive expect a growing demand for playable stories, where the player feels like the protagonist in a film. 

Studio HE (Architecture & Design)

Studio HE is a Margate & London-based spatial practice led by Hubert Zirconium, combining architecture, interiors, and bespoke joinery design with a strong emphasis on collaborative art and social practice. We create deeply tailored environments that fuse craft, cultural narrative, and community engagement, transforming space into immersive, socially resonant experiences. 

Studio OW (Design)

StudioOW is an innovative creative agency, designing for immersive events, premiers, screenings and takeovers. They engage audiences through branding, print, 3D and digital design and deliver one of a kind experiences that resonate far beyond the event itself. 

The AI Guys (IT, Software & Computer Services)

The AI Guys is a UK-based AI automation agency that helps businesses regain time and boost productivity. Specialising in custom AI solutions, we empower companies to automate tasks, improve creativity, and spend more time on what matters most. We connect and optimise your tools, train your team, and deliver tailored solutions for real business impact. 

The Little Wild Ones (Digital Media)

The Little Wild Ones is a motion design studio bringing clarity and feeling to complex ideas. They help organisations untangle tricky topics, spark curiosity, and build trust, using short-form animation that’s thoughtful, textured, and emotionally engaging. Their work often starts where information needs help to land, when people need to understand, connect, or take action. 

The Sustainable Sequin Company (Craft & Design)

Founded in 2018 by Rachel Clowes, The Sustainable Sequin Company is dedicated to providing the fashion industry with more sustainable embellishments. The Company researches, develops and creates lower impact sequins for fashion brands, independent designers and embellishment enthusiasts alike. 

Warrior Sq (Advertising & Media)

Warrior Sq is a full service marketing agency specialising in the arts and culture sectors. Founded in 2023, they help creative organisations grow their audiences, raise their profile and drive revenue through strategic, insight-led campaigns. Their services span brand development, campaign planning, content creation, digital advertising and website design. 

Yewande103 (Dance & Visual Media)

Yewande 103 is an interdisciplinary company founded by Alexandrina Yewande Hemsley in 2020. Rooted in dance, writing and performance. Their work explores the sensorial and bodily as ways to navigate injustice and imagine repair. Yewande103 centre creativity as a tool for self-expression, with a focus on accessibility, care, and intergenerational exchange.
