Create South East programme business, Studio Sam Causer, recently presented at The Big Creative UK Summit: Climate Solutions on November 5th.
Studio Sam Causer is a Margate based ‘design-led, RIBA chartered architecture practice specialising in adapting complex and sensitive situations.’ Studio Sam Causer is also a member of our programme, taking part in our first cohort that launched back in 2023, and completed their journey with us at the start of 2024.
Associate Director, Jarred Henderson, attended and spoke at the conference, and has also been an active member of the Create South East community as an alumni of our programme. Studio Sam Causer was invited to the conference due to their innovative climate solutions in the field and as a creative sector business. The architecture firm has a strong commitment to ‘understanding the environmental and social impact of [their] buildings,’ and believe that, ‘whilst everybody has a responsibility to form good relations with our environment, the architect is well placed to balance the physical and temporal elements that together create spaces worthy of our collective capability.’
In the future, Jarred will be speaking at our next Create South East Cohort Showcase in January, joining an in-conversation talk with John Stenhouse from Angels@Essex where they will discuss how the programme has shaped Studio Sam Causers approach to creative investment, and how our programme partners and mentors have supported the company on their growth journey.
